A Weldon man wanted on a litany of charges, including robbery with a dangerous weapon, was arrested over the weekend.

Det. Sgt. Obert Wiltsie, of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, said deputies arrested Daryl Keith Shearin Saturday without incident.

Wiltsie said Shearin had outstanding warrants for robbery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a motor vehicle and assault on a female, along with orders for arrest for driving while license revoked, obtaining property by false pretense and felony larceny.

Shearin, 29, from Weldon, jailed under a $72,000 bond and assigned a Nov. 9 court date, according to Wiltsie.
