Because of the overwhelming response to November’s presentation of the Taste of Home Cooking Show, The Daily Herald is proud to announce it is bringing back Taste of Home Cooking in 2013.
“Our plan is to have a show very similar to the one we just had in November, but with more businesses participating in the pre-show expo,” said Herald Publisher Titus Workman.
Workman said there will also be a few surprises and ticket sales will start earlier.
“We certainly hope to have even more people attend the show,” Workman said.
“Turnout was really good in November, but we have terrific seating available for a lot more people.”
Daily Herald Marketing Director Carol Crittendon said tickets will go on sale soon for next year’s show, which will be held Nov. 2.
Crittendon said this year’s vendors were pleased with the show results and their success in introducing their products in the Roanoke Valley.
“All of them told me they will be back next year,” she said.
Crittendon said the doors will open at 4 p.m. for the public to enjoy all the samples and new products offered by exhibitors, then the show will start at 6 p.m.
