Saturday night was no different as Tucker qualified on the pole with an amazing 14.782 lap of the 3/8ths -mile clay oval and proceeded to spank the competition during the Nash Brick Super Late Model feature race.
The high-banked short-track has gotten better and better each week since new promoters, Raceway Promotions re-opened the dormant facility.
The conditions were so good Saturday afternoon, several classes saw new track records during qualifying.
The action started with the four-cylinder classes working in the higher groove.
Dustin O'Neal distanced himself from the pack and easily took the Mini Stock 4 win and Wayne Matthews, driving his familiar 98 car held off Eric Keith for the Super Stock 4 win.
By the time the Pure Stock V-8s took to the track, the racing was good both high and low, and drivers began looking for new lines, which led to a rash of cautions.
Troy Kassiris, in the 17 car finally prevailed over polesitter Chris Munn.
When the more radical looking Super Street cars hit the track, the racing action was so close cautions again became the order of the day. Several drivers went from the front of the pack to the back several times before Greg Munn and Ricky Dickens finally settled things with Munn taking the hard fought win.
When the 14 ultra-fast Super Late Model cars hit the track for the Nash Brick feature race, the track was still good both high and low.
Despite numerous restarts due to cautions, Tucker easily pulled away from the pack each time and began lapping slower cars. Tucker saw the checkered flag for the seventh time this season
