Each day we hear from Valley residents unhappy with government, school boards, the state of the economy, their tax bills and an endless list of other concerns.

Many an angry comment centers on the impact of government and bureaucracy on our daily lives.

If you are one of these unhappy campers, we have a solution.

Register to vote and then go to the polls and cast your ballot. In between the two, learn all you can about the candidates.

If you vote, you have earned your right as a citizen to complain.

And yes we understand simply voting won’t cure all the problems but it is a start. After that citizen involvement in the process of government will keep the elected officials’ feet to the fire and remind them they work for the people.
