David was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Littleton and was affiliated with the American Legion Post 425, Prince Hall Masonic Lodge and VFW, all of Littleton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Nena F. Barrett.
He is survived by his wife, Martha P. Norggins Faulcon of the home; one daughter, Vanessia F. Ford of Newport News, Va.; one son, Max J. Faulcon of Cape May, N.J.; six stepdaughters, Millicent N. Gilchrist, Shaffey Norggins, Meshelle Norggins and Jennifer N. Williams (Roy), all of Raleigh, Wendy N. Brooks (William) of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Gloria N. Rennock (Michael) of New York; one stepson, Clifton E. Norggins of Roanoke Rapids; six siblings, Irene Morring and Josephine Haley of Norfolk, Va., Lenwood Faulcon (Lula) of Virginia Beach, Va., Christine Faulcon and Curtis Faulcon (Barbara) of Littleton and Annie Parrish (Melvin) of Chapel Hill; two nieces who were like sisters, Ruby P. Solomon of Durham and Wylene Faulcon-Goins of Littleton; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Helen Burgess (Milton) of Littleton, Joyce Alston of Cary, Ardean Alston-Dunn of Raleigh and Pearlie Daniels (Theodore) of Roanoke Rapids; four brothers-in-law, L.P. Alston (Annette) of Littleton, J.B Alston, Andy Harvey (Marsha) and Freeman Harvey (Anita), all of Baltimore; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The body will repose until 8:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, at Robinson Funeral Home in Littleton, which is handling the arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 26, at Enon Baptist Church in Littleton, with the Rev. Fred Thorpe, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Littleton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Community Home Care and Hospice, 112 Long Circle, Roanoke Rapids NC 27870.
