The bridegroom is the son of Ken and Kathleen Cain of Kelford. He is the grandson of the late Sherman and Carol Brown and Betty Cain of Pottesville, Ark., and the late Reese Cain.
Curt Faison performed the nuptial ceremony.
A program of wedding music was provided by Stephanie Todd of Cofield, soloist, and Gil Farrow, guitarist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a David’s Bridal designer strapless ballgown with a split front overskirt featuring embroidery cascading down the front and also down her chapel-length train.
For her headpiece, the bride wore a white blusher in the bottom of her hair. She carried a beautiful custom-designed nosegay bouquet filled with white lilies. The bouquet also featured splashes of light yellow and pool blue, which coordinated with the wedding color scheme. The bouquet was hand-tied and wrapped in white satin ribbon. Her bridesmaids carried simple but elegant bouquets solely consisting of white lilies, and hand-tied with either light yellow or pool blue satin ribbons.
Hannah Reed of Wilmington, best friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Christina Sewell of Roanoke Rapids, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Adrienne Powell of Roanoke Rapids and Meggon Sigmon of Halifax, friends of the bride, and Danyell Cox of Kelford and Dana Vann of Ahoskie, sisters of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaids were Natalie France and Holly France, both of Roanoke Rapids and nieces of the bride, Tiffany Cox of Kelford, niece of the bridegroom, and Lynley Liles of Littleton, sister of the bride.
Hailey and Harley Cox of Kelford, nieces of the bridegroom, served as flower girls. Ringer bearer was Lance Sewell of Roanoke Rapids, nephew of the bride.
Ken Cain, father of the bridegroom and Josh Cain, twin brother of the bridegroom, and both of Kelford, served as bestmen. Groomsmen were Michael Butts of Littleton, cousin of the bride, Gene Mitchell of Roxobel, friend of the bridegroom, Brian Sewell of Roanoke Rapids, brother-in-law of the bride, and BJ Vann of Ahoskie, brother-in-law of the bridegroom. Junior groomsmen was Ben France of Roanoke Rapids, nephew of the bride.
Tracy Brake of Roanoke Rapids served as mistress of ceremonies.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School. She is employed at Aegis Sciences Corp. in Nashville, Tenn.
The bridegroom graduated in 2002 from Bertie High School and a 2003 graduate of Nashville Auto Deisel College. He is employed with Aegis Sciences Corp. in Nashville.
After honeymooning in Nags Head, the couple now reside in Nashville.
A reception was held at Rheasville Fire Department in Littleton, catered by Mike and Wanda Butts. The reception was DJ’ed by S&R DJ Service. The wedding cake was made by Phyllis Stanfield and the fruit arrangement was provided by Lynn Vann.

A couples shower was held in April 2008 and given by Christina and Brian Sewell, Karan and Nicky Roberts, Debbie Liles, Greg and Kay Liles, and Mike and Wanda Butts.
