Watch Night Services

Park Baptist Church, 1136 Virginia Ave., Roanoke Rapids, will hold its Watch-Night service from 9 p.m. until midnight. Various guests and speakers include Evangelist Wayne White, Pastor Joe Jordan, the Praise Team, Minister Ollie  Bennett. Also, guest Minister Johnathan Daniels from Zimbabwe, will speak. There will be lots of praise and worship to start the new year. Following the service, there will be refreshments, including black-eyed peas.

Wayman African Methodist

Wayman African Methodist Episcopal Church, Enfield,  will hold its Watch Night service beginning at 10 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31. The Combined Choir will provide music. 

Carters Chapel

Carters Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will hold a Watch Night service beginning with praise and worship at 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31. Minister Alonza Martin will preach at 11 p.m.

Roanoke Chapel

Roanoke Chapel Baptist Church, Littleton, will hold its New Year’s Eve service at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31. Guest preacher will be the Rev. Daphne-Moody Solomon, pastor of Lebanon AME Church, Littleton. The RCBC youth choir will provide music.

Cool Spring

Cool Spring Missionary Baptist Church, Gaston will hod a Watch Night service at 9 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31. Preachers will be the Rev. Dawn Mack, the Rev. Mertis Jackson, the Rev. Wayne Welch Jr. and the Rev. Ronald Owens. Music will be provided by the choirs of the church.
