After oceans of tears and tons of prayers, the Dylan Moore family is starting the New Year off right.

“Two weeks ago, Dylan’s future looked very bleak! The docs told us that he may not come home. Well, Dylan’s Team showed us all what the power of prayer can do!” Dylan’s mom Betsy communicated from Dylan’s web page at www.caringbridge.org/visit/dylanmoore.

According to reports Dylan is now off dialysis. “I did a dance in the hallway!!! Did you guys hear me holler?”

Betsy said that Dylan’s blood pressure is much better, his fever is gone and his blood sugar is good. Moore seems to be turning the corner now and heading for a full recovery. Yet there are still obstacles to overcome and Betsy asks for continued prayer.

She shared that Cody, Skyler and Eli (Dylan’s brothers and sister) came for a visit with Dylan after supper and watched a movie. “He had to have some pain medication that made him really sleepy, but before going to sleep, we all circled round his bed and Eli prayed the most beautiful bedtime prayer for Dylan and sang him a wonderful song!! It was very special!”

She sent her thanks to everyone who thinks of them and prays. “Tonight I pray that Dylan will continue to heal, his pain will cease, and that better days are ahead. Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers!”
