Linwood Daniel ‘Woody’ Bowman

ROANOKE RAPIDS — Mr. Linwood Daniel “Woody” Bowman, 26, was born March 2, 1982, and passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2009.

He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Bowman; and his grandmother, Alice S. Porch.

He is survived by his parents, Doug and Cathy Albertson of Shepherdsville, Ky.; a sister, Jessica Bowman (Ross Boyer) of Roanoke Rapids; his grandmother, Lillian Bowman of Littleton; his grandfather, Cleaton Porch of Weldon; his grandmother, Lillian Albertston of Bardstown, Ky; numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other loved ones.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hosparus Hospice of Louisville, Ky., for their kindness and support.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service in Roanoke Rapids, which is handling the arrangements, and other times at 2060 Highway 48, Roanoke Rapids.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 5, at Community Freewill Baptist Church in Weldon, with the Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
