Manley graduates from ECU

Miranda Vernice Manley recently graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management. She is a 2005 graduate of Northwest Halifax High School in Littleton. She is the eldest daughter of Mr. Willie Randolph Manley and Mrs. Mary Jefferson Manley of Littleton. She is the granddaughter of the late George and Rubelle Shearin and Sarah Burgess Jefferson and the late Horace Jefferson Sr.

Manley aspires to continue her studies at North Carolina Central University in Durham and obtain joint degrees in Masters of Business Administration and Juris Doctor. She is co-president of Sigma Omicron Epsilon Sorority Inc., Alpha Chapter and a dedicated volunteer to many organizations in Pitt County.
