Miss Tabb to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Tabb of Richmond, Va., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Roshonda Sherri Tabb, to Mr. Quentin Laquan Ballard, son of the late Mrs. Marie Bosier Ballard, formerly of Summerton, S.C., and Mr. Leroy House.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Wilbert and Annie Tabb of Gaston and the late Edward and Lillian Stephenson, formerly of Garysburg. The groom-to-be is the grandson of the late Willie Lee and Virginia Bosier, formerly of Summerton.

Miss Tabb is a graduate of Henrico High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Counseling from Hampton University. She is currently a school counselor with Henrico County Public Schools in Richmond. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Mr. Ballard is a graduate of Scott’s Branch High School, Summerton. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Morris College, his master’s degree in Mathematics from Virginia State University and his postmaster’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is currently a mathematics teacher and administrative aide with Henrico County Public Schools in Richmond. He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

A December wedding is planned.
