First place winner was Deja Thompson, who received nine wooden carved pencil sharpeners and a flower bag; second place winner was Nia McDaniel, who received a book titled “Birds: Educational Games and Activities For Kids of All Ages” by Waterford Press; and third place winner was Shanteqwa Moody, who received a turtle key chain.Teacher Tracy Williams is the director for Girl in Science and Librarian Jackie Ruffin volunteered to organize the preparation for the contest.
