GASTON — “This is a beautiful building,” said Gaston’s Mayor pro Tem

Louise Bailey. “We’re really lucky they chose to come to Gaston.”

Bailey, area dignitaries, members of the Northampton County Chamber of

Commerce and neighbors were at the grand opening ribbon-cutting

ceremony for Mason Builders at 238 Roanoke Rapids Road, Highway 48, in

Gaston.

Bailey welcomed business owners Bernard and William Mason to the

community and wished them much success. Visitors were given a tour of

the facilities along with a presentation, treated to a reception and

had an opportunity to meet the Mason brothers and their family.

The Masons are originally from Henrico, sons of Irene Boyd Mason and

William Mason Sr. They said they appreciate their family and look

forward to working close to home.

The Mason building houses Mason Builders LLC, a turn-key building and

contracting firm. They can help with every phase of building your new

home or office — from the planning stages and finding financing through

the building process to the day the last worker leaves the site and you

move in. Bernard said his firm handles residential, commercial and

industrial building. “Nothing is too large or small.”

William is vice president of the Mason Builders and handles all the

electrical and electrical engineering aspects for their clients. Also,

William owns MG Solutions, which designs Web sites and hosts online

education systems. This firm provides distance learning education

packages for several large colleges and universities.

Innovations, another company housed in the building, is a consulting

and design firm owned by Stanley King. All of the men hold extensive

credentials and offer referrals.

Bernard had some thanks he wanted to share, “ I just want to say how

much we appreciate all the support from the town of Gaston. They were

there to help us with anything we needed. They have been right there

for us. We also appreciate all the support from the Northampton County

Chamber and we really appreciate our staff, our subcontractors and

daily employees. We are probably one of the better contractors in the

area because of the people that work for us.”

Mason Builders is open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and

Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you would like more information call
