LITTLETON — Cynthia “Cindy” Moseley Blythe, 51, of Littleton, died

Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Duke University Medical Center.

Cindy was a native of Halifax County, the daughter of Milton Moseley

and the late Shirley Moseley. She was an active member of Victory

Baptist Church, where she loved to sing in the choir.

She is survived by her husband, Gene L. Blythe; her daughter, Tina

Freeman Barnes and her husband, Jerry, of Roanoke Rapids; her son,

Kenneth Mark Freeman and his wife, Stephanie, of Jackson; her father,

Milton Moseley and his wife, Elsie, of Roanoke Rapids; three

grandchildren, Ryan and Cassie Barnes and Ashton Freeman; two sisters,

Diane M. Taylor and her husband, Bud, and Brenda M. Jackson and her

husband, Andy, both of Roanoke Rapids; several nieces and nephews; and

her faithful companion, Biscuit.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Monday, June 22,

at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids, which is

handling the arrangements, and other times at the home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, at Victory

Baptist Church, with Preacher Michael Jones officiating.  Interment

will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Cindy’s memory to

the Victory Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 189, Roanoke Rapids

NC 27870.
