Rhoda and Bill Verhosek of Lake Wylie, S.C., announce the birth of a son, Edward Weldon Verhosek, on June 15, 2009, at Charlotte Presbyterian Hospital. He weighed 6 lbs. 14 ozs. and was 20 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Ida and Bill Kittner of Norfolk, Va., and  formerly of Weldon. Paternal grandparents are Lan and Larry Verhosek of North Charleston, S.C.

Shayla Sneed and Travis Jackson of Roanoke Rapids announce the birth of a son, Jamrion McCoy Jackson, on June 17, 2009, at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids. He weighed 7 lbs. and was 19-1/2 inches long. Maternal grandparent is Gevia S. Cherry of Roanoke Rapids. Paternal grandparent is Susie M. Jackson of Littleton.

Marvin and Jessica (French) Lee announce the birth of a daughter, Trinity Kay Lee, on June 15, 2009. She weighed 6 lbs. 10 ozs. and was 19 inches long. She is the granddaughter of Betty Lee of Emporia, Va., and the late Dr. Kenneth French and Kay Schilling of Iowa. She is the great-granddaughter of Pern French of Nashua, Iowa. She also has three brothers, Marvin Jr., Malik and Elijah.

Nakeia Clark and Javarrae Rook of Gaston announce the birth of a son, JaQuayvion KeNyus Clark, on June 19, 2009, at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids. He weighed 6 lbs. 8 ozs. Maternal grandparents are the Revs. Laura and Jerome Clark of Pleasant Hill. Paternal grandparents are Joyce Rook and Sylvester Hardy of Gaston.

Tracy Davis of Littleton and Markell Harris of Roanoke Rapids announce the birth of a daughter, Kamari Amaya Harris, on June 15, 2009, at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids. He weighed 5 lbs. 10 ozs. and was 18 inches long. Maternal grandparent is Ernestine Davis of Littleton. Paternal grandparent is Jacqueline Harris of Roanoke Rapids.
