Holly Denise Cullom of Roanoke Rapids and William Charles ‘W.C.” Jones III of Littleton exchanged wedding vows on Tuesday, May 11, 2009, at Waterfront Park in Charleston, S.C.

The bride is the daughter of George and Hilda Cullom of Roanoke Rapids. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hawkins of Aurelian Springs and Mrs. Avalene Cullom and the late Mr. Clinton Cullon of Roanoke Rapids.

The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. W.C. Jones Jr. and the late W.C. “Billy” Jones Jr. of Littleton. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jim Odom of Lufkin, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Jones Sr. of Littleton.

Mac Hammett of Charleston performed the nuptial ceremony.

A program of wedding music was provided by Classical Charleston, a string trio featuring chello, violin and viola. Music was Nat King Cole’s “Unforgettable,” Handel’s “Horn Pipe,” Mouret’s “Rodeau” and Vivaldi’s “Allegro, Spring.”

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory Swiss-dot tulle illusion halter dress with a trumpet skirt featuring lace appliqués and a detachable watteau train.

She carried a bouquet of pink tulips tied with a French silk ivory ribbon adorned with a sterling palmetto tree broach.

Tiffany Snyder of Distinctive Events in Charleston served as mistress of ceremonies.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School and is employed as a stylist at Mirror Mirror in Roanoke Rapids.

The bridegroom is a 1983 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School and a 1987 graduate of East Carolina University. He is employed with McPherson Beverages Inc. in Roanoke Rapids.

After a honeymoon in Charleston the couple will reside at Panacea Springs in Littleton.

A reception was held at Cypress Restaurant in Charleston, hosted by Sha Sha Harnki of Distinctive Events, Charleston.

A bridal luncheon was hosted by the bride’s parents at Peninsula Rooftop Restaurant in Charleston.

A bridal shower was hosted by Ms. Tia Taylor and Mrs. Joy Pepper, friends of the bride, at Earthling Day Spa in Charleston.
