Sound off!

It seems to me that it is time we, as a country, shut up about the activities taking place in other countries especially when it is a no-win situation from the very start. The U.S. having any influence in the goings-on in Iran is a joke. To stick our noses into the goings-on in Honduras is self-righteous. We, as a country and a government, are in a pretty sad state of affairs and need to solve our own problems before we go meddling in what we perceive are the problems of others. On top of that, our involvement just inflames those we don’t particularly like.  So it is time for Obama and Hillary to take a page out of Nancy Pelosi’s recent book and just keep quiet.

Mind your own business

I would like to Sound off! about people who love to run their mouths about anything and everything. Learn how to live your own life for your own purpose and stop worrying about other people’s business.

Remember Barney

To the person who called in about Obama inheriting his financial problems from George Bush, I have two words — Barney Frank, a Democrat.

Alternatives

Hanging is still used in New Hampshire and Washington or perhaps they would prefer the firing squad as in Idaho and Utah. Personally, I prefer the idea that as soon as you find the person and you know they are guilty, if you shoot them it costs me $1 instead of millions.

The mayor

Mayor Beale is talking about both sides of his mouth again … He has done nothing to clean up the Mill Village during his tenure as mayor … He and the city council cater to the slum lords.

Batty

What can the city do about bats in the house? … I was under the impression it was against the law to kill them.

Better world

Let’s stop complaining and pointing fingers. Just think about how good God has been to all of us. This would make a better world.

Con artists

I want the pastors to be aware of con artists who come into the church to defraud the church … They hide their assets to get money for what they say is to pay their bills or for food … It isn’t. This has happened to me.
