Jesse Lucas hit a two RBI triple, Camden Bierbauer scored a run with a triple and an unearned run put the Roanoke Valley all-stars ahead 10-4. Robinson scored another run and it didn’t take long for the U10s from the Roanoke Valley to shift into cruise control, riding that momentum all the way to the final out.
Saturday’s contest versus Currituck wasn’t as easy.
The Roanoke Valley all-stars had to fight back to tie the game at three, went ahead six and then had to hold off Currituck in the final inning to advance to today’s game.
