Vandals strike Valley by Daily Herald Staff ReportROANOKE RAPIDS — Vandals used spray paint in three incidents in Old Farm Road area of the city, according to police. The graffiti attacks were discovered yesterday morning. At 220 Old Farm Road, the letters GS along with the words gun smoke were found written in black spray paint on a brick wall, Chief Jeff Hinton said. At 216 Old Farm Road, the letters GS were found written in black spray paint on the side of a recreational vehicle. At 101 Deerfield Place, the letters GS were found written in black spray paint on a carport. Police are investigating to determine who did the painting and whether it is gang related.
