Trooper Tare L. Davis said in an initial report Anita Bowden, 33, was traveling south on Lebanon Church Road when her car veered left of the center line, ran off the road and struck a ditch around 4:30 a.m.

The car overturned several times and Bowden, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle.

The report indicates alcohol was a factor.
