MINNEAPOLIS — Eight-year-old Dylan Moore has lost his battle with a rare blood disease.

According to Dylan Moore’s Web site caringbridge.org/visit/dylanmoore/, Dylan passed away this weekend. The little boy who won the hearts of everyone who knew him, and knew of him, lost his fight with Fanconi Anemia, apparently due to graft vs. host disease.

Dylan had been at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital for the past 173 days following a bone marrow transplant.

The Roanoke Rapids Daily Herald family joins with everyone in the Roanoke Valley, offering our condolences to the family.
