Sept. 12 wedding planned

Tim and Penny Strickland of Roanoke Rapids announce the engagement of their daughter, Krystal Blair Strickland, to Brandon Clay Grissom both of Roanoke Rapids. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Donald and Carol Lassiter of Roanoke Rapids and Nancy Lane of Wilson and the late Jackie Strickland.

Her fiancé is the son of David and Debbie Grissom of  Roanoke Rapids. He is the grandson of Mabel White and the late Lloyd White and Marie Grissom and the late Jimmy Grissom, all of Roanoke Rapids.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Sept. 12.
