Ellsworth and Courtney Gaskill of Lawrenceville, Ga., announce the birth of a son, Colton Orion Gaskill, on July 26, 2009, at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville. He weighed 6 lbs. 11 ozs. and was 19-1/4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Troy and LaDonna Jenkins Jr. of Roanoke Rapids. Paternal grandparents are Lyn Strickland of Abescon, N.J., and Ellsworth Gaskill Jr. of Hamburg, N.Y. Maternal great-grandparents are Mrs. Frankie Murff of Lena, Texas, and the late Edgar Boyd of Roanoke Rapids, Ernestine Jenkins of Roanoke Rapids and the late Troy Jenkins.

Rodney and Christina Harris of Hollister announce the birth of a daughter, Makiyah Keaira Harris, on July 7, 2009, at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids. She weighed 7 lbs. 12 ozs. and was 19-1/4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Bob and Mary Anstead of Hollister. Paternal grandparents are Randolph and Joyce Jefferson of Cary and Eddie Lewis Harris Sr. of Littleton. She has one sister, Wynter Harris.

Thomas Mitchell Bunn Jr. and Lauren Horrell Bunn of Spring Hope announce the birth of a daughter, Molly Caroline, on July 28, 2009, at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount. She weighed 7 lbs. 11 ozs. and was 21 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Susan Horrell of Roanoke Rapids and Randy Horrell of Raleigh. Paternal grandparents are Tommy and Wyvette Bunn of Spring Hope. She also has a sister, Jordan Elizabeth Bunn.
