Sept. 26 wedding planned

Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Grabowski of Huntersville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Eve Grabowski, to Wesley Clayton Pridgen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Woody Clary of Roanoke Rapids and Mr. Michael Pridgen of Lake Gaston.

Katy is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gladys Herman of Hickory. She will graduate in December 2009 from North Carolina State University with a Master’s in Marine Science in Biological Oceanography.

 Wesley is a graduate of Edgecombe Community College with an Associate’s in Networking Technologies. He is currently employed at Web Point, LLC in Rocky Mount as a network technician.

The wedding will take place on Sept. 26 at the Grabowski home in Huntersville.
