Couple to wed June 19

Mr. and Mrs. James K. Elliott of Roanoke Rapids announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Carroll Lyles of Roanoke Rapids, to Thomas Lee Goble of Nashville, Tenn. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Archie H. Lyles Jr. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lizzie Carroll and the late Mr. James Carroll and Mrs. Lorene Lyles and the late Herman Lyles, all of Roanoke Rapids.

Her fiancé is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold K. Talley and the late Dr. James R. Goble Jr. of Marion, N.C. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Goble of Charlotte and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Huffman of Black Mountain.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on June 19.
