Haszel ‘Sputer’ Mills

HOLLISTER — Haszel “Sputer” Mills, 69, of Hollister, died Friday, Aug. 21, 2009.

She is survived by Sherry Richardson of Virginia Beach, Va., Darlene M. Williams of Warrenton and Michelle M. Hedgepeth of Littleton; two sons, Haszal Mills Jr. and Cory Mills, both of Hollister; two brothers, Merzie Mills of Hollister and Quinton Mills of N. Augusta, S.C.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 23, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg, which is handling the arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 24, at Pine Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Rudd officiating. Burial will follow in the Mills Family Cemetery.
