apStone representatives recently attended the mid-year meeting of the Mid-South Behavior Based Safety Association held in Charleston, SC. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the organization’s strategic plan to include workplace safety initiatives, membership recruitment and building the Mid-South image within the pulp and paper industry. The association consists of facilities in the paper industry which utilize a behavior-based safety approach in their workforce. It provides a cost-effective networking resource to assist its members in achieving an injury-free work environment. Martin is currently serving a two-year term on the organization’s executive board.
