Nov. 7 wedding planned

Jerry and Kay Ferguson of Graham announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Leigh Ferguson of Graham, to Bradley Edward Haveman of Raleigh. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jesse and Margie Ferguson, the late Leatha Morgan and the late Broadus Lassiter, all of Roanoke Rapids.

Her fiancé is the son of Larry Haveman of Manasota Key, Fla., and Rose Weaver of Zeeland, Mich.

Amanda was an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she completed her requirements for pre-pharmacy. She is now attending Campbell University School of Pharmacy, where she anticipates graduating in May 2010 with a Doctor of Pharmacy and Masters of Science in Clinical Research. She is working part-time as a pharmacy intern at Duke University Medical Center.

Brad graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2005 with a degree in Business Economics with a Real Estate Emphasis. In July 2009, Brad moved to Raleigh and took a job with Trust Atlantic Bank as Senior Credit Analyst.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Nov. 7, at First United Methodist Church in Graham.
