LITTLETON — The Rev. James A. Whitaker, 81, of 2500 Highway 4, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at Somerset Court in Rocky Mount.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church.
