Ellis Ray Brown

MURFREESBORO — Mr. Ellis Ray Brown, 68, of Murfreesboro, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at his home.

Mr. Brown was born March 14, 1941, the son of the late Rexell Lee Brown and Roxie Mae Lane Brown. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jeri Jackson Brown.

Survivors include his daughters, Lana Flythe and her husband, Robert, Connie Jenkins and her husband, Keith, Bonnie Jenkins and her husband, Marty, and Janie Brown; four grandchildren, Ray Jenkins, Ryan Flythe, Lauren Flythe and Christopher Miles; and three brothers, Samuel Brown, Linday Brown and Wayne Brown.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 18, at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson, which is handling the arrangements, and other times at the home.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 19, at Highland Memorial Gardens in Ahoskie.
