Dale Lee Morris

HALIFAX — Dale Lee Morris, 57, of Halifax, died Thursday Oct. 29, 2009.

Dale was the son of the late Hubert Bolt Morris. Dale served in the National Guard for six years, was a life long farmer and was employed with the North Carolina Wildlife. He was a member of The Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. Dale never met a stranger, loved people and would help anyone in need.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Morris Walker of Roanoke Rapids; his sister, Pamela Morris Walsh of Halifax; his half-sister, Karen Frances Dickens of Wilmington; and his brother, Tony Morris and his wife, Pam, of Lake Gaston.

The Family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 31, at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids, which is handling the arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 1, at the chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Thorn officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Enfield.
