Ernest Melvin ‘Boss Hog’ Benthall Jr.

WOODLAND — Ernest Melvin “Boss Hog” Benthall Jr., 60, of 1560 N.C. Highway 35, Woodland, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Woodland, with the Rev. Eddie Vinson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
