HALIFAX — Edna Ruth M. Clifton, 89, of Halifax and formerly of Roanoke Rapids, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Guardian Care of Roanoke Rapids.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6, at First Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids, with Dr. Julian Mills officiating.

I am reminded so much of all the fond and fun times I spent at your house with you and Uncle Jack. Thank you for all the laughter and smiles. We had such a great time. You are in a much better place.
