HALIFAX — William Jerome Person, 32, succumbed Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at 261 Lucky Drive, Halifax.

He was born Nov. 2, 1976, in Hertford County, the son of Hazel Person Ford and the late William Person.

Leaving to cherish his loving memories are his mother, Hazel Ford, and stepfather, Claude Ford, both of Halifax; three brothers, Danny Person of Newport News, Va., Anthony Ford of Whitaker and Vergel Readdy of Greensboro; two sisters, Marcia Ford-Williams of Greensboro and Claudette Ford-Edwards of Weldon; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at the House of Prayer #3 in Halifax, with Bishop Columbus Arrington officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

Faison’s Funeral Home Inc. in Seaboard is handling the arrangements.
