Yellow Jackets: Unbeaten

With a 52-14 road trip victory over North Johnston, puts the Roanoke Rapids football team in position to go undefeated with only one game remaining as they host rivals Northwest Halifax.

Being on the road did nothing but motivate the Yellow Jacket as they got closer to keeping a the goose egg in the loss column.  The Jacket offense  only scored  six points in the first quarter but made up for lost time in the second by scoring a whopping 32. They backed that up with 14 more in the third but yet went scoreless in the fourth. Roanoke Rapids  had a balanced offensive attack with their ground pounders rushing for 234- yards. While the air attack racked up 242, for a total of 476.

 The Jackets kept errors down do only one turnover while North Johnston  turned it over three times.
