ROANOKE RAPIDS — Mr. William Lloyd Epps II, 55, of Roanoke Rapids, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Va.

Mr. Epps graduated with the 1972 class of Roanoke Rapids High School and attended East Carolina University. He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Eugene Epps; his grandparents, Lloyd and Liddie Epps and Daisy Liverman.

He is survived by his mother, Mary L. Epps of Roanoke Rapids; his daughters, Hilary Epps Hilliard and her husband, Tait, of Durham, and Lauren Epps of Greensboro; and his sister, Terri Johnson and her husband, Mike, of Roanoke Rapids.

 The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 20, at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service in Roanoke Rapids, which is handling the arrangements.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
