SEABOARD — Mrs. Artizella L. Winborne, 77, of 609 Park St., Seaboard, was summoned home to eternal rest Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids.

Artizella, the daughter of Arthur Hanner and Ethel Singletary, was born Oct. 15, 1932, in Hawkinsville, Ga.

Her kind and loving spirit shall forever remain in the hearts of her children, Elaine Winborne-Jones (Johnny), of Clayton, Milton Leath, of Union, N.J., Stanley Leath, of Elizabeth, N.J., and Joe L. Winborne Jr. (Sharon), of Wilmington; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1 to 7 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22, at Faison’s Funeral Home Inc. in Seaboard, which is handling the arrangements.

Homegoing services will be held at noon, Saturday, Jan. 23, at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Seaboard, with Pastor Pernell Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Phillips Cemetery.
