ROXOBEL — Mr. Garland Ray Briley, 70, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

A visitation was held from 7 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan 28, at Sykes Funeral Service in Rich Square, which is handling the arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today, Jan. 29, at Sandy Run Baptist Church in Roxobel, with the Rev. Doug Spivey, the Rev. H.C. Boschen and the Rev. Polly Denny officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Roxobel-Kelford Cemetery in Roxobel.

Memorial donations may be made to the Roxobel Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 54, Roxobel NC 27872 or Roxobel-Kelford Library Fund, C/O Southern Bank, P.O. Box 61, Roxobel NC 27872.
