Camren Blake Flythe and Dustin Arnold DeLoatch, both of Conway, exchanged wedding vows during a 4 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Jackson.

The bride is the daughter of Blake and Melinda Flythe, of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Gurney and Rebecca Braswell, of Lasker, and Doris Flythe, of Milwaukee, and the late Leon Flythe.

The bridegroom is the son of Phil and Debbie DeLoatch,of Conway. He is the grandson of the late Bernard and Joyce DeLoatch, of Conway, and the late Elbert and Lucy Bowen, of Woodland.

The nuptial ceremony was performed by the Rev. Willie McLawhorn, of Conway.

A program of wedding music was provided by Mrs. Wanda Guest, of Conway.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory lace gown with a strapless bodice adorned with ornate lace detail, a fit and flare silhouette and a lace up back and chapel-length train. The veil was ivory scalloped lace adorned with pearls. Bridal jewelry was handmade by Patricia Clement, owner of Precious Creations of Kings Landing in Murfreesboro. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of mango calla lilies, hypericum berries, pin cushion protea and wheat. All flowers were designed by Mr. Wayne Massey, owner of Flowers by Wayne in Jackson.

Mrs. Ashley DeLoatch, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Taylor Houston, of Matthews, Mrs. LeAnn Howard, of Ahoskie, Miss Kelly Sykes and Mrs. Polly Drake, both of Conway.

Serving as flower girl was Dylan Dyer-Flythe, daughter of Lee Flythe, of Charlotte, and Logan Dyer, of Asheville. Ring bearer was Trenton Martin, son of Jason and Leigh Martin, of Woodland.

Mr. Phil DeLoatch served as his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Mr. John DeLoatch, Mr. Devin Drake and Mr. Justin Burgess, all of Conway, and Mr. Brandon Francis, of Murfreesboro. Ushers were Mr. Drew Pinnix, of Severn, Mr. Ryan Davis, of Conway, Mr. Barry Barrett, of Jackson, Mr. Bennett Watts, of Fayetteville, and Mr. Robert Marks, of Capron, Va.

Mrs. Sandra Boone and Mrs. Cathy Hatcher, of Conway, served as mistresses of ceremonies. Program attendant and guest book attendant was Mrs. Cynthia Houston, of Matthews.

The bride graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in recreation therapy and is employed at Newport News Behavioral Health Center as a Recreational Therapist.

The bridegroom graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in geology and employed with Enviva in Garysburg.

Following a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Conway.

The parents of the bride hosted a reception and dance at Valley Pine Country Club immediately following the ceremony. Mrs. Kim Johnson, of Jackson, catered the event. Music was provided by Mr. Mike Storey (D.J. Mic), of Conway. The wedding cake was made by Mrs. Cathy Hatcher.

On the eve of the wedding, an after-rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom’s parents at the church fellowship hall and was catered by Mr. Robert Allen, of Conway.

On Aug. 17, a stock-the-bar pig pickin’ was held at Conway Hunting Club with live music by the Willie Peebles Band from Jackson.

The bride was honored with a floating miscellaneous bridal shower on Aug. 18 at Zion United Methodist Church in Conway.

On Sept. 14, the couple was honored with a dance and gift card party at the Severn Community Building. Music was provided by D.J. Mic, of Conway.

A bridesmaids’ dinner was held on Sept. 22 at the Commons in Murfreesboro.
