Roanoke Rapids schools seeks $989,000 in capital funds

ROANOKE RAPIDS — Asking for three times its normal allocation, the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District Board of Education will seek $989,000 from the Halifax County Board of Commissioners to meet the district’s capital outlay needs in the 2010-2011 budget year.
