Alexis Leann Pearcey and Aron Robert Crumb, both of Roanoke Rapids, exchanged wedding vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at Chaos Coordinator Sunset Venue in Roanoke Rapids.
The bride is the daughter of James “Bubba” and Aleisha Pearcey of Roanoke Rapids. She is the granddaughter of Kathy Boseman of Trenton, North Carolina, and the late Wayne Boseman and the late David Patterson, both of Roanoke Rapids, and Peggy Fajna and the late James “Shug” Pearcey of Roanoke Rapids.
The bridegroom is the son of Jimmy and Terry Crumb of Roanoke Rapids. He is the grandson of Iris Faucett and the late Bob Faucett of Roanoke Rapids, and Patricia Crumb and the late John Crumb of Fayetteville.
Jimmy Lee Tickel performed the double-ring ceremony and DJ Christopher Burke provided music.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an all over lace classic sheath wedding dress from David’s Bridals. The gown was sleeveless and featured a V-neck with jewels infused with a comfortable curved hugging fit.
She carried a beautiful bouquet of fall flowers which were made by the bride’s aunt, Andrea Padron of Trenton.
Serving as matron of honor was Jaime Pair of Roanoke Rapids, sister of the bride. Serving as bridesmaid was Kaylen Smith of Roanoke Rapids, friend of the bride.
Serving as best men were Jimmy Crumb of Roanoke Rapids, father of the bridegroom, and Greg Chauvin of Raleigh, best friend of the bridegroom.
Serving as mistress of ceremonies was Wendy Michelle Tickel.
The bride and bridegroom are employed with Roanoke Rapids Graded Schools.
After a honeymoon in Sevierville, Tennessee, the couple will live in Roanoke Rapids.
A reception was held immediately following the wedding ceremony.
A rehearsal dinner was held on Nov. 18, provided by Brandi and Jim Short, sister and brother-in-law of the bridegroom.
