The halls and rooms of Belmont Elementary in Roanoke Rapids were filled with antlers, angels, snowmen and elves on Wednesday — and that was just the staff.
Each age level in their turn filled the multi-purpose room with carols, giggles and good times as the school continued their time-honored tradition, the Holiday Sing-Along. “We do this every year,” said music teacher Andrea Ford.
Many students wore their pajamas to the event, along with Santa hats, white beards and blinking red noses.
