Baby New Year at Vidant North

Vidant North Hospital announced its New Year’s baby, Kendrix Cary, born to Joeillissa Stokes and Kevonte Cary from Roanoke Rapids and Rich Square. Kendrix made his way into the world at 5:52 p.m. Monday at Vidant North, delivered by Dr. Oussama Ahmad Saleh. The baby weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. The parents were presented with a gift box from the hospital. Pictured are Latarsh Taylor, RN, left, Dr. Saleh, the family, Haley Lewis, RN and Allyssa Murphy, RN.
