ROANOKE RAPIDS – According to a press release from Capt. Anzell Harris, the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division have been attempting to serve outstanding warrants on the following individuals.  These men frequent Georgia Avenue, South Rosemary and the Taft Street areas. 

• Sergio Newell, 44, for sell cocaine, deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to sell/deliver cocaine

• Dante Sutton, 45, for sell cocaine, deliver cocaine and possession with the intent to sell/deliver cocaine

• Terell Lamont Johnson, 43, for conspire to sell/deliver cocaine and two counts each of sell cocaine, deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to sell/deliver cocaine and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance.

In March, Johnson was arrested and charged by Agent D.J. Epperson with several drug trafficking violations. During the search of his residence agents seized 346 grams of cocaine, 15 grams of crack cocaine, a handgun, several items of drug paraphernalia and currency.

These investigations were conducted by Agents D.J. Epperson and H.G. Phillips. Agents encourage Newell, Sutton and Johnson to surrender to law enforcement.
