PENDLETON — Mr. Ernest McKinley “Jack” Vaughan, 65, of Pendleton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, while in the care of Northampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jackson.

Loving memories of his life and legacy shall remain in the hearts of his daughters, Patrina Powell of Conway and Deirdre Vaughan of Gatlinburg, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Tyreke Mitchell and Dalemajah Fultz; his siblings, Helen Horton (Anthony) of Garner, Patricia Williams of Clayton, Willie Vaughan (Gill) of Pendleton and Barbara Edwards Spruill (Ronnie) of Roanoke Rapids; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23 at T.L. Faison’s Funeral Care LLC, 301 Park St.

in Seaboard, which

is handling

the arrangements.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, in the chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Deloatch delivering words of comfort. Mr. Vaughan will lie in state for one hour prior to service. He will be laid to rest in the Vaughan Family Cemetery, 265 Galatia Road (Faison’s Old Tavern Community) in Seaboard.
