Rev. Rodney Wade Thompson Sr.

KNIGHTDALE — The Rev. Rodney Wade Thompson Sr., 67, of Knightdale and a native of Weldon, died on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 20 in The Memorial Chapel of Cofield Mortuary in Weldon, which is handling the arrangements, with the Rev. Paul Atlas officiating. The Rev. Thompson will lie in state at the chapel for one hour prior to the service for viewing and the family will also be present to greet and receive friends. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
