SHARPSBURG — Tavares Whitaker, 40, of Sharpsburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2021.

A walk-through visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14 at Greater New Testament Holy Church, 9201 County Line Road, Sharpsburg, NC 27878.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15 at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, 1805 Martin Luther King Jr., Tarboro, NC 27886.
