Scheduling news and notes

The show goes on.

Such is the case for Roanoke Rapids, which will have three athletic teams participate in contests over next week’s spring break.

On Monday, the 3-0 women’s soccer team — which hasn’t allowed a goal this season — travels to Rocky Mount for a 1 p.m. showdown with Big East Conference 3A foe Northern Nash (2-3), while Tuesday showcases rivalry softball in the form of RRHS (3-1) at Bunn (2-1).

The busy-bee schedule concludes on Friday, when the Jackets take to the gridiron for their regular-season finale, also against Bunn.
