Northeast Academy, a 1A member of the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association, began its postseason on Monday across dual landscapes.

The varsity volleyball team traveled to Albemarle for opening-round play in the Tar Heel Independent Conference bash, while the JV troupe opened on the road at Ridgecroft.

Today, the focus shifts to tennis, with NEA hosting league contingents at the Northampton County Recreation Department and Cultural & Wellness Center.

First serve is slated for 10 a.m.

Next week, the Crimson’s cross country bunch takes centerstage, competing on Monday in the TIC Championship at Albemarle.

Runners begin their quest for glory at 4 p.m.
