RRHS calendar gets adjusted

Change, change, change.

Call it par for the course this week at Roanoke Rapids High School, which was forced to juggle its athletic itinerary due to inclement weather, a held-over transportation issue and health and safety protocols.

The women’s tennis troupe, which had its match at Southern Nash washed away on Tuesday, will instead make the trip on Monday for a 3:30 p.m. first serve.

Buzz City’s volleyball program, booked to play the first of its home-and-home series with Louisburg earlier this month, will do so on Oct. 4 at The Hive.

And lastly, Craig Jean’s soccer outfit, slated to host Louisburg on Monday, will stage the show on Oct. 7, after the Warriors complete a health and safety protocol observance.
